What is BIONA?BIONA is a decentralized science (DeSci) ecosystem focused on cardiac regeneration. We combine 12+ years of peer-reviewed research with Web3 principles to develop and democratize access to heart regeneration therapies. How does cardiac regeneration work?Our research discovered that the heart contains resident stem cells living inside mature heart muscle cells. When activated by specific signals (which we've identified as microRNA in 'apoptotic bodies'), these stem cells can regenerate damaged tissue. STH-001 mimics these natural signals to trigger cardiac regeneration.
